Additional services - TypePress are able to create DVD, CD, audio or video output, for your various production needs. Please let us know the preferred format, content, length and intended use and also estimated numbers to be produced, along with any other information that would be useful.

TypePress can also provide your company with a full range of promotional products for your next event or marketing campaign: branded pens, mugs, keyrings, notepads, banners and so on.

Business Cards - TypePress produces high quality business cards that are visually engaging and memorable, ensuring that your card stands out. We cater to both traditional and more modern needs, understanding the importance of a design being crisp, clean and timeless.

All we require from you is the information you wish to have on the card i.e. your personal and contact information. Please inform us if you wish to include any mottos or quotes, whether you have any colour preferences and remember to include a company logo if applicable. If you do not currently have a logo but wish to commission one, TypePress offer a logo design service that compliments this service.

Cover Design - TypePress will provide you with an eye-catching, professional cover complete with spine and back cover.

Please provide us with details of what you would like to achieve with your cover: the source material (i.e. a book, journal or DVD sleeve), any images or logos required in the design, and if you would like the cover to be made compatible with a particular printer's specification.

Custom Artwork - TypePress will convert your rough drawings, sketches and layouts into ready-to-use artwork and graphic designs, using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Simply provide us with an outline of your requirements: the intended use (print, online, both), any size or colour constraints and any further information that would be helpful.

We accept all manner of source material from those hand drawn or computer generated, to a description of what you are trying to achieve.

Invitations - TypePress will produce tailor-made invitations for a range of occasions such as business events, weddings or birthdays.

Simply provide us with details; for example, the occasion and date, your preferences regarding colour and size, and your choice of traditional or contemporary themes.

We are also able to provide you with a selection of templates to choose from, which you may alter to suit your specific needs.

Graphics - TypePress will create a range of illustrations and diagrams to suit any business need. Once you have provided us with the content, your preferences regarding colour, logo placement and font, we will then create your graph/diagram to encompass these requests where possible.

Please ensure you have provided us with your size requirements for each graphic and diagram and whether your image is intended for online or printed use.

Leaflets/brochures - TypePress will create engaging leaflets and brochures with designs suiting your requirements, ensuring that your message is clearly expressed to your audience.

Once we have received an outline of your requirements: your message, logo, intended audience and preferences regarding colour, format and sizing, we will ensure these are all incorporated into your leaflet or brochure.

Please ensure that you have provided us with the final copy, as additional amends to copy can affect layout and can be time-consuming to implement. If you do not currently have a logo but wish to commission one, TypePress offer a logo design service that compliments this service.

Logo Design - TypePress will work closely with you and your company to gather information regarding the message you wish to evoke with your logo. By taking into consideration your business sector, your ethos and the image you wish to project, we will ensure that we create a logo that truly represents your company and embodies your values.

Newsletters - TypePress are also able to assist you in producing customised newsletters for either printed or online use.

By providing us with your final copy, logo and information regarding your intended audience, we will produce a polished newsletter, in a layout to suit these needs.

If you require a certain house style, font or colour to be used, please provide us with further details. We will try to accommodate all these requests where possible (fonts that are not held in-house may incur additional costs).

Templating - TypePress can create custom document templates for you, for a range of desktop packages including Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop as well as MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

We will ensure that you will be equipped and able to create many internal documents ranging from book chapters to presentations and OHT’s, all the while ensuring the formatting, look, feel and corporate branding remains identical – each time, every time.

If there are particular branding guidelines you need us to follow, we will ensure the stunning templates adhere to these; similarly, if you would like us to create a completely bespoke house style and template for you – our team will happily do so.

Typesetting - TypePress will take your text and any images you have provided and arrange them into a layout befitting your house style, ensuring the size and font remains consistent throughout. We understand the importance of ensuring that your material is both visually appealing whilst conveying the message you wish to express.

Overhead Projector Transparency (OHT) - TypePress will transform your base material into clean, visually stunning, well-crafted presentations.

Simply provide us with an outline listing your requirements; the intended use of the presentation, the length of your presentation, whether you have a house style you wish us to use, your logo and its placement, and any preferences on font and colour. Please highlight any other information you believe would be useful to us and we will attempt to incorporate this where possible.

Copy Editing - Our copy-editing service will check that the formatting and style of your material is consistent with your house style. The copy-editors at TypePress will ensure that your copy is clear, correct, concise, complete, and consistent.

Each page is also checked carefully for layout inconsistencies, ensuring the text and graphics fit neatly on the page. If you do not have a house style, we will generate one for you based on your specifications or provide you with our default housestyle - which we will give details on per your request.

Editing - TypePress will take your materials and check for completeness, ensuring that there is consistency within the language and style. Based on your request, we will either mark up these areas and/or correct them on your behalf. TypePress will always ensure we highlight any changes we have made and will store a backed up version of your original work.

End to End - TypePress also offers a full end to end pre-press service to our clients, enabling all the editorial services to be requested in conjunction with the print services listed.

This includes: copy-editing, editing, proof-reading, page-layout and keying.

Keying - TypePress offer the option of keying materials as detailed by you and will be formatted to suit your end material. As this can be a time-consuming process, we ask that you only provide us with information that has been finalised and signed off.

Any additional amendments to the information that has not been initially provided will incur incremental costs. However, the first set of amendments to the layout are free of charge.

Page Layout - We understand the importance of setting pages, and the need for materials to be visually engaging and appropriate to your target audience. During our page layout process, we arrange your text and graphics to suit your end material, whether it is for print or online purposes.

We offer two options when setting your layout; we are able to either set your pages to your specific house style or we can create a custom layout/house style for your personal use.

Paper Select - TypePress can advise you on the correct choice of paper for your end product based on your requirements for print. This may prove to be a cost-saving exercise, as additional costs are often incurred from inappropriate paper selection.

PDF file creation - Once your document has been signed off for print, TypePress will then be ready to produce a print ready PDF file for you. We will ensure that all your fonts are embedded and the colours throughout your pages have been correctly set, whether you require grayscale, 2 colours or 4 colours.

As a complimentary service, we will also run your final PDF through a series of pre-flight checks, to ensure you incur no additional costs or delays during your print run due to any pre-press reasons.

TypePress can also provide you with low resolution PDFs to upload onto your website or to send to your clients via email.

Printer Liaison - TypePress have a network of trusted, reliable printers that we regularly use. We will liaise with printers on your behalf to discuss lead time and ensure that adequate print time is set aside in order to meet your deadlines.

We will send off your print ready files directly to our printers and oversee the entire print process on your behalf.

Please note that we are only able to provide this particular service as a part of the end to end pre-press service and are unfortunately unable to offer this as a standalone service.

Proof Reading - During our proof reading process we thoroughly check your text for both typographic errors and any grammatical irregularities. We will ensure your copy style has been applied consistently throughout and check that your spelling and punctuation are correct.

We will mark up any inconsistencies and errors throughout the text. These changes can be sent back to be processed by you or we can correct them on your behalf - this service will incur an additional cost.

Screening and Imposition - During this process we compile your digital document to ensure readability and order to your intended audience. We can increase the size of any text or image to meet your requirements and will ensure any branding is placed as needed.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - TypePress can improve your chances of being found by the most relevant customers to your business by creating snippets and copy that will allow search engines to pick out important pieces of information related to you and your company. This ensures that potential clients reach your site and most importantly stay on your site.

No two searches are ever the same and we would be silly to promise that your site will always be at the top of any search, but a comprehensive, well-designed and properly marketed site will always attract visitors, both new and old.

Web Artwork - TypePress can create engaging and dynamic artwork for your website.

Our team is able to convert your rough drawings, sketches and layouts into web-ready artwork.

Website copywriting and critique - TypePress can also advise you on the suitability of your website; whether the copy, layout and basic functionality is suitable and user-friendly.

We can create and/or amend existing copy and provide you with recommendations on areas such as tone and succinctness, providing solutions for the functionability of your site, ensuring that your visitors remain on your site and are able to navigate through it successfully.
